Woodnorton hotel is a 50 room 4 star hotel in Worcestershire with a renowned restaurant and extensive guest services. To ensure its residents are provided with a quality service, it has a large team of full-time and part-time staff.
With so many members of staff and a constantly shifting rota, controlling payroll had become increasingly problematic. The hotel was using a paper based rota and payroll system which was immensely labour intensive for the Financial Director, taking them up to 6 days per month to implement and manage. Time which could have been more effectively spent growing the business.
Consulting with the client, it became clear that the core issues were the amount of time needed to handle the payroll and the management of the team. Our accountants team also raised issued surrounding the lack visibility when it came to understanding staff profitability.
To solve these business problems, we seamlessly integrated our rota and payroll systems into their business. Now, rather than streams of spreadsheets and paper, the client simply uploads the data, and our accountants process it on their behalf. What took 6 days now takes 3 hours.
